Sarah grew up in Auburn, New York, just outside of Syracuse. Central New York was nicknamed the “Hot Bed” of lacrosse in the 90’s… lacrosse was everywhere! Sarah began playing (with a wooden stick!) in 7th Grade for the JV team. After her first season of lacrosse Sarah attended a clinic led by the legendary Kelly Amonte-Hiller, her love of the sport was contagious and Sarah was officially lacrosse obsessed! Sarah continued to play throughout high school; her league was considered one of the most competitive in the country. Sarah enjoyed a successful D3 college lacrosse career at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she broke 7 school records and was proud to lead her team as a Co-Captain for her junior and senior seasons. Fun Fact – Coach Andrea and Sarah were teammates at RIT for 2 seasons!
